As an Amazon Fulfillment Center Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and smooth operation of one of our state-of-the-art fulfillment centers. Your key responsibility will be to support the daily activities within the warehouse by managing inventory, organizing products, preparing goods for shipment, and ensuring that all operations are streamlined and on schedule. Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse by following safety and operational guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are stored correctly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet and exceed daily operational goals and targets.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and condition of products.
- Participate in training programs to improve operational knowledge and skills.
- Communicate with supervisors to resolve any issues related to orders, inventory, or equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
- Training on warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment is an advantage.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position with shifts available during the day, evening, or weekends.
- Flexibility required for overtime and shift changes based on operational needs.
- Regular weekend shifts may be required.
